RakeSign sends a one-time code to the email address assigned to your request. You must verify that address before you sign or approve.

Enter your code

  1. Open the invitation and review the document.

  2. Select Verify email to sign, or Verify email to approve for an approval request.

  3. Check the email address shown under Check your email.

  4. Open the verification email and enter its six-digit code. RakeSign checks the code when you enter the last digit.

The code expires after 10 minutes. A code allows up to five incorrect attempts before it becomes invalid.

The code did not arrive

Check your spam or junk folder and confirm that you can access the address shown on the page. Wait for the countdown, then select Resend code.

RakeSign waits at least 60 seconds between code requests. A replacement code makes the previous code invalid, so use the newest email.

The code is incorrect or expired

For an incorrect code, the page shows how many attempts remain. Enter the code from the newest verification email.

If the code expired or you used all attempts, wait until Resend code becomes available and request a new one.

The email address is wrong

Contact the sender and ask them to correct the recipient details. Use the new invitation after they make the correction. The old signing link will no longer work.

Do not forward your verification code. If someone else should respond, use Assign to someone else after verification, when the sender has enabled that option.
