Write in RakeSign
Open your draft on the Documents step.
Open More and choose Write a document. If the editor is already open, continue there.
Enter the agreement text in the editor. Use the toolbar for headings, bold text, lists, and tables.
Open Fields to add details that change between agreements.
Use Page layout in Fields and formatting to set the page size, fonts, header, logo, or page numbers.
Open PDF preview to check the final layout. Select Refresh PDF if it is out of date.
Save your draft or continue to People & order.
Write your agreement and use Fields and formatting to prepare reusable details.
Edit a Word document
Open More, select Upload files, and upload one Word file. In Open Word document, choose Edit document to edit its text in RakeSign.
Choose Use as fixed PDF when you want to preserve the uploaded layout and only add signing fields. A fixed PDF does not let you edit the document text.
Use Download Word to keep a separate Word copy. If you change the document type, RakeSign asks you to confirm replacement of the Word source.
When you upload several files, or upload PowerPoint or Excel files, they become PDFs. Review the result before sending.
Review after editing
Changes to text can move content across pages. Check the PDF and signing fields again after changes.
Some documents use advanced formatting rules. Use Markdown source only when you need to edit those rules. Formatted view and PDF preview help you review the result.
